For You

Knowledge means nothing.

It’s the application of knowledge that makes a difference. You must take action!

If you don’t, you’ll end up broke or still working at age 65,
just like the majority of the population.

Did you know you only have 520 fortnightly pays from age 45 to age 65?

Below are some resources to help you get started. The forms help you gain clarity and point towards your next steps while the links have calculators and other great tools.

Remember time spent procrastinating will cost you dearly in the long run.
You can procrastinate later xx

pdf-icon (1) Scenario Budget

It’s ridiculous to expect that you’ll stick to a budget and spend exactly the same amount every week. You do however need a start point and an idea of where your money goes, so complete this form in pencil with your best guess-timate. Then you need to record your expenses over at least 6 weeks and come back to amend these figures.

If single, complete this form so as to clarify what you’re looking for in a partner. If in a relationship, complete this form to aid communication and work out compromises. There’s an example on page 15 of the The Bedside Guide to S&M: How to have Sizzling Sex & More Money in your relationship.

Basic Budgeting spreadsheets

I developed this process and the spreadsheets to manage my money when I had 8 part time jobs and 3 negatively geared properties in 2002. A single Mum of 3 teenagers bought two investment properties within two years of learning it. These simple sheets are like Velcro – very simple and effective.

If you tell me what the activity is on page 59 of The Bedside Guide to S&M: How to have Sizzling Sex & More Money in your relationship, I’ll send you an electronic copy of the templates that are in the book.
